About Us

Organized in June of 1917 by a small group of farmer/ranchers, the OK Cooperative Grain & Mercantile Company saw a vision of producers banding together to bring added value to their labors. Expanding its operations, the OK Cooperative built a concrete grain elevator. Today, the OK Cooperative consists of 755 members and serves Barber, Harper and Comanche counties in Kansas plus parts of Woods and Alfalfa counties in Oklahoma. A nine-member board oversees the OK Cooperative consisting 18 employees. The OK Cooperative extends to four locations in Kiowa, Hazelton, Hardtner, and Corwin, Kansas. Full-service operations include seven grain elevators, fertilizer service, feed mill, two service stations, bulk fuel delivery, and ag-chemical sales.
